Best Value 

The Dunbartonshire and Argyll & Bute Valuation Joint Board was invited to participate in the Best Value initiative by way of SODD Circular 11/1999. This called for a Submission covering four specific areas:

A self assessment of the Joint Board’s compliance with the essential elements of Best Value;

A demonstration of how the Joint Board achieves value for money in those areas formerly subject to the CCT process;

A comprehensive service review schedule; and

A framework for the development of Public Performance Reporting (PPR) and an implementation plan to May 2001.
