Assessor's Department

The Grampian Assessor and Electoral Registration Officer is Alexander Aitchison McConochie. He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a corporate member of the Institute of Revenues Rating and Valuation.

• Sandy McConochie was appointed Assessor and ERO on 1 April 1997 and heads up a department which employs 89 staff. He is supported by 2 Depute Assessors who are responsible for the day to day management of the professional, technical, administrative and clerical staff based in Aberdeen, Banff and Elgin.

• Ian H. Milton BSc (Hons) FRICS IRRV is the Depute Assessor for The City of Aberdeen Division and also has responsibility for the Moray Divisional Office in Elgin where Niall Gibson MRICS is the Assistant Assessor in charge of the office.

• Gavin M. Oag MRICS is the Depute Assessor for the Aberdeenshire Council area and responsible for the Kincardine & Deeside and Gordon Divisions. Gavin also has responsibility for the Banff & Buchan Divisional Office in Banff where Mark J. Adam MRICS is the Assistant Assessor in charge of the office.

• Alistair W. Hay MRICS is the Assistant Assessor for the Aberdeen City Division and Fiona McKelvie MRICS is the Assistant Assessor for the Kincardine & Deeside and Gordon Divisions
