Reapply for your UK Parliamentary postal vote

If you applied for a postal vote on or before 30 January 2024, you’ll need to re-apply by 31 January 2026. Otherwise, your postal vote will expire.

Long term postal voters need to re-apply for their postal vote for UK Parliament general elections, by-elections and recall petitions every 3 years.

When you are due to reapply for your UK Parliamentary postal vote the Electoral Registration Officer will contact you by letter or email advising you how to reapply.

Postal votes for Scottish Parliament and council elections in Scotland are not affected.
