The Electoral Registration Officer has written to all households to let them know who is registered to vote and who has a postal vote – look out for your letter.  If your name appears on your household notification letter and you want to apply for a postal or proxy vote or to change your opt out status, there is no need for you to re-register again.

Coronavirus outbreak

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic The Highland & Western Isles Valuation Joint Board have closed their office buildings in line with the Government’s advice. The Assessor and Electoral Registration Officer is working to ensure that a reduced level of service continues to be delivered through home working and other measures where that is possible, however, it is not possible to guarantee that all services can be delivered at this time.
