UK Parliament Postal Vote Cancellations
The ERO wrote to around 40,000 electors during 2025 where their UK Postal Voting arrangement was due to expire. Those who wished to retain their Postal Vote were invited to reapply. Around 16,000 voters have not reapplied, and their Postal Vote arrangement for UK Parliamentary Elections have now been cancelled. Emails were sent on 2 February 2026 to those affected, and where no email address is held, a letter will be sent week commencing 9 February 2026.
