2026 Non-Domestic Revaluation Roll

The Assessor made up the 2026 Non-Domestic Revaluation Roll on 15 March 2026. The new Roll will come in to force on 1 April 2026.

Valuations are available to view on the Scottish Assessors Portal, where you will be able to see Proposed Valuations. These will become Current Valuations on 1 April 2026.

It is not possible to challenge entries in the 2026 Valuation Roll until it comes in to force on 1 April 2026. At that point, an option will exist to 'Make a Proposal' within the property view. The deadline for making a proposal against a Revaluation entry is 31 July 2026.

UK Parliament Postal Vote Cancellations

The ERO wrote to around 40,000 electors during 2025 where their UK Postal Voting arrangement was due to expire. Those who wished to retain their Postal Vote were invited to reapply. Around 16,000 voters have not reapplied, and their Postal Vote arrangement for UK Parliamentary Elections have now been cancelled. Emails were sent on 2 February 2026 to those affected, and where no email address is held, a letter will be sent week commencing 9 February 2026.

2024/25 Self Catering Evidence Checks

The 2024/25 Audit of Self-Catering properties on the Valuation Roll has now begun. Requests for evidence will be sent out on 3 February 2026, with responses required by 31 March 2026.
